MY MOTHER always told me not to talk to strangers... Why din't i listen... I acccepted my friends 'connection'. the connection shall be known as just 'z'
now ,- i spoke with z over phone for over a week.. without actually knowing the identity... What was i thinking..? i don't know...
After a hard weeks work, i decided to meet up with z... i HAPPENED TO BE SITTED WITH a FRIEND .....to whom i narrated my soon to be ordeal.. :D ( yeah it was an ordeal )
now z arrived about 30-45 minutes later at the meeting location.... we exchanged pleasantries and my dear friend decided to leave.... here i was wondering wt-- heaven i was doing..
why din't i just stay at work ? maybe i would have achieved a milestone in my project..
in short -- i was soooooo bored... so disappointed.. i couldn't believe so called friend of mine..could crack such a joke !! z was nothing that i had even remotely imagined..
being a gentleman... i played my cool,,, played the game ,, till the time came to say goodbye...
you don't know ,how relieved i was ... Ofcourse i din't make any follow-up phone calls...
z kept calling,, until i had to drop the bombshell... this just wouldn't work...
there,, you have it... NEVER NEVER trust your friend to recommend a blind date...
trust me..

hehehehehehe@ Mama telling you not to talk with strangers you should have listened to your elders. So that's what happened that day. I guess it's the irony about life but I must say it is a blessing to go through such experiences they brace you for the next person you meet and help you to look out for similar traits though sometimes you might judge someone too quick yet they have a lot to offer
well, this time my judgment was correct. did not make a mistake !
